What is CAAD
What is CAAD
CAAD stands for the Community Alliance Against Drugs. It is an all-volunteer nonprofit organization run under the auspices of the West Allis Police Department and the City of West Allis.
The mission of the Community Alliance Against Drugs (C.A.A.D.) is to provide a working forum for the participants to receive, discuss, and develop educational and recreational programs to deter substance abuse. C.A.A.D. encourages participation by its members of the community in an effort to increase the sensitivity of the community to the problems associated with the abuse of alcohol and other drugs and help eliminate those problems.
C.A.A.D. provides parents and children inexpensive, safe, and drug free events throughout the year. We believe that children with strong family structure are less likely to be involved in drugs, alcohol, and crimes. By providing free and low cost family events, we hope to play a role in helping to build stronger family bonds within our community. We believe that our events can enhance the quality of life for everyone in West Allis by making it a safer community with less problems associated with drugs and alcohol. In the past several years, our membership has grown, and we have substantially increased the number of quality events that we make available for our members and the community.
Our annual membership fee is only $20. Your membership will allow you and your family to attend multiple events each year at little to no cost. We encourage you to apply for membership at a CAAD event. We are also planning to add a link for applying or renewing your membership online soon. Please visit our site again for future updates.
